*One Good Turn Deserves Another: Hon. Femi Ogunbanwo’s Impactful Representation Earns Praise from Constituents*

Honourable Femi Ogunbanwo, member representing Ijebu Central Federal Constituency (comprising Ijebu-Ode, Odogbolu, and Ijebu North East), has been widely commended for his legislative excellence, effective representation, and unwavering commitment to the development of his constituency. This was highlighted in a message delivered by Mr. Adelagun Odusami, Convener of the Omo-Iwa Beyond 2027 Grassroots Mobilisation Initiative, during a radio programme on 93.5 Super FM on Wednesday, 18th February 2026. The programme featured testimonials from constituents who praised Omo-Iwa’s impactful representation and outstanding performance.

Hon. Ogunbanwo’s representation has been purposeful and development-driven, consistently addressing the pressing needs of both urban and rural communities. A notable example is the construction of the 7km Ikise–Ilado Road, linking Ilado, Ikise, Igbile, and Omu, thereby enhancing connectivity and economic activities in the area. He has also awarded bursaries to 320 students in higher institutions, implemented empowerment initiatives for widows, and enrolled and equipped over 3,000 artisans since assuming office. Through targeted training programmes, he has further strengthened small-scale businesses across the constituency. Additionally, several primary and secondary schools have benefited from renovations and new constructions, significantly improving the learning environment for students.

It is evident that his constituents desire continued progress and are ready to support his ambition to further serve and deliver greater dividends of democracy.
