The Ijebu Ode Local Government has issued a public disclaimer warning residents to be cautious of unauthorized individuals or agents collecting funds, processing permits, or carrying out revenue-related activities in the area.

The local government states that it has not authorized any individual, association, or third party to collect funds or carry out official activities on its behalf, except through recognized offices and departments of the Local Government Secretariat.

Residents are advised to verify claims of authority before making payments or engaging in transactions. The Ijebu Ode Local Government will not be held responsible for losses arising from dealings with unauthorized persons.
