IJEBULAND: BAN ON FIREWORKS AND BANGERS IN EFFECT DEC 1ST, 2025 🚨*

 

Ijebu Ode Local Government Chairman, Hon. Dare Alebiosu, has issued a stern warning: fireworks, bangers, and "Knockout" explosives are banned effective December 1st, 2025. 

The ban aims to address growing concerns about public safety, particularly with the current security situation.

The challenge is that it's increasingly difficult to distinguish the sound of bangers from gunshots, posing a risk to residents and potentially aiding criminal activities. 

To mitigate this, the Chairman has directed that anyone found with these items will face arrest and prosecution.
