Adejobi initially stepped into the role of Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO) in an acting capacity on February 16, 2022, while holding the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP). He was later confirmed in the role by former Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba (Rtd). Since his appointment, DCP Adejobi has played a key role in reshaping the image of the police force, implementing reforms to boost public confidence, strengthen accountability, and upgrade the communication systems within the force.

A graduate of the University of Ibadan, Adejobi studied Archaeology and Geography as a combined honors program and later obtained a master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the same institution. Between 2008 and 2016, he served as the Police Public Relations Officer in Ogun State, earning a reputation for effective communication and professionalism.
