A tragic incident has shaken the community as the Ogun State Police Command investigates a suspected ritual murder of a 16-year-old boy, Master Lawal Wahab. 
The teenager's body was found mutilated along the Old Express Road, Igbile-Ijebu, on July 23rd, 2025, with vital organs gruesomely removed.

Acting on credible intelligence, the Omu-Ijebu Division police apprehended suspects Salawu Omikansola (25) and SEREFUSI AGEMO (IGBILE), among others. 

One of the suspects made a voluntary confessional statement, which was recorded on video. 
The police are working to arrest other fleeing accomplices.

*FATHER'S PLEA FOR JUSTICE*

The father of the deceased, Mr. Lawal Olumide, has commended the Ogun State Police Command for their efforts. 
He is now appealing to the judiciary and the Nigerian people to ensure justice is served, emphasizing that the perpetrators, regardless of their influence, must face the consequences of their actions.

The Ogun State Police Command has condemned this heinous act and assured the public that justice will be pursued to its logical conclusion. 

As the suspects have been remanded in prison custody, the community is rallying behind the family, demanding justice for the young victim.
