As the Ileya celebration approaches, Hon. Bukky Remi Adesanya, also known as Bukadex, is once again demonstrating her commitment to the welfare of the aged in Ijebu Ode Local Government.
In conjunction with the Bukadex Humanitarian Foundation, she is set to allocate food and cash support to 200 carefully selected aged people across the 11 wards in the local government.
This initiative is a testament to Bukadex's compassion and dedication to giving back to the community.
By targeting the aged, she is ensuring that those who have contributed to the growth and development of the community are not left behind.
As Bukadex aptly puts it, "Caring for the aged is not a burden but a sacred duty - a chance to honour the past, learn wisdom, and show the kindness we hope to receive in return."
The event is scheduled to take place on June 5, 2025, at 9 Oshinubi Street, beside CAC Oshinubi, Ijebu Ode, at 11 am prompt.
This initiative serves as a reminder that the joy of Ileya is fuller when shared, especially with those who have carried the weight of our communities.
The success of this initiative relies on the generous support of sponsors and volunteers.
By coming together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of the aged and show that we value their contributions.
Hon. Bukky Remi Adesanya's initiative is a shining example of the impact that compassion and kindness can have on our communities.
As we celebrate the Ileya festival, let us remember the importance of caring for the aged and work together to make a positive difference in their lives.
This initiative is a testament to Bukadex's compassion and dedication to giving back to the community, and we can all learn from her example.
We urge everyone to support this noble initiative by volunteering or donating to the cause.
Together, we can make a difference in the lives of the aged and show that we care. Let's come together to support our aged community members and make the Ileya celebration even more special for them.
