CARING FOR THE AGED: A SACRED DUTY ~Hon Bukky Adesanya's Heartwarming Initiative

As the Ileya celebration approaches, Hon. Bukky Remi Adesanya, also known as Bukadex, is once again demonstrating her commitment to the welfare of the aged in Ijebu Ode Local Government. 


In conjunction with the Bukadex Humanitarian Foundation, she is set to allocate food and cash support to 200 carefully selected aged people across the 11 wards in the local government.


This initiative is a testament to Bukadex's compassion and dedication to giving back to the community. 

By targeting the aged, she is ensuring that those who have contributed to the growth and development of the community are not left behind. 


As Bukadex aptly puts it, "Caring for the aged is not a burden but a sacred duty - a chance to honour the past, learn wisdom, and show the kindness we hope to receive in return."


The event is scheduled to take place on June 5, 2025, at 9 Oshinubi Street, beside CAC Oshinubi, Ijebu Ode, at 11 am prompt. 

This initiative serves as a reminder that the joy of Ileya is fuller when shared, especially with those who have carried the weight of our communities.


The success of this initiative relies on the generous support of sponsors and volunteers.
