According to reports, the deceased, a commercial tricycle operator, was reprimanding his daughter for her second pregnancy out of wedlock. The situation escalated, and Onyinye became angry, attacking her father. Her mother joined in, and together they allegedly beat him until he fell and hit his head on the ground, resulting in his instant death.
