Lagos Police Foil Kidnapping, Rescue Two Abducted Victims




In a swift response to a distress call, the Lagos State Police Command has successfully rescued two persons abducted by unknown gunmen in the Ijede community area.


The incident occurred on March 29, when the gunmen invaded the community around 9:00 a.m. and stormed the residence of 40-year-old Dare, eliminating his security dog before taking him hostage. The assailants then moved to a nearby building, where they abducted the 25-year-old daughter of the landlord.


The police were promptly alerted and launched an investigation, which yielded positive results. On the same day, the police rescued the two victims unharmed and reunited them with their families.


The police are currently working to apprehend the suspects and bring them to justice.
