**** WHEN THE MASSES SEE NIGERIA POLICE AS CORRUPT ORGANIZATION. WITHOUT KNOWING THE CAUSES.

Image
IF YOU WANT A BETTER POLICING JOIN THE CAMPAIGN  1. Police salary is very poor thereby given criminal opportunity to entice officers with money. And we a shouting we want corrupt free officers. 2. When you visit most of the police Division, apart from arms and ammunitions which may be intact, it is very rear to see good chairs, table fan etc, at the Charge Room. True or False?  3.The Admin office is nothing to write about.  No Sets of functioning computer and other vital stationeries, rats and cockroaches find their houses in personnel files. Yet, they are looking up for prompt and active administration  4. No serviceable power generator for the Division. 5.The DPO source for money to furnish his/her office from anywhere, yet they are looking for justice. 6. An injured Policeman in the cause of his duty is abandoned to carry his cross. Am I lying?  Yet, they are looking for commitment from others. 7. Policemen take out of their meager salary to buy kits for them...

WHO IS A POLICE OFFICER

Image
L sten to this short story....  A Police officer was shot dead and was lying in a pool of blood, when a boy and his father watched the scene. The boy asks his father: Who is this man? I don't know, son, I just know, that he was a Police. The young boy approached a person who was dressed in a beautiful uniform different from the others, very elegant. It was the commander of the unit where the Police worked. The boy took his hand and asked: Who is a police officer?? The officer responded in a trembling voice and his eyes were full of tears: A Police is a person who sleeps less than many people, endures cold, sun, rain, hunger, and there are times that he/she has no holidays, Sallah, Christmas, New Year and many other important moments.  He/she is far away from the family, their children when they are sick, or their husband/wife as well as their parents and siblings. A Police receives insults, physical assaults, they cry, suffer, endure thousands of scares and many more things th...

SACRILEGE, OFFENCE THAT IS PUNISHABLE

Image
Sacrilege refers to an act of disrespect or irreverence towards something considered sacred or holy. It involves the violation, desecration, or contemptuous treatment of religious objects, beliefs, practices, or spaces. This offensive behavior can be directed towards deities, religious symbols, religious texts, places of worship, or rituals. The severity of punishment for sacrilege varies across different societies and legal systems. In some jurisdictions, sacrilegious acts are considered criminal offenses and may result in legal consequences such as fines, imprisonment, or community service. The specific punishment depends on factors such as the nature and extent of the sacrilege, prevailing cultural norms, and the religious significance attached to the offended entity. Historically, sacrilege has been seen as a serious transgression and has often elicited strong social, religious, and legal reactions. The intention behind criminalizing sacrilegious acts is to safeguard the relig...

DEPARTMENT OF FORCE INTELLIGENCE (DFI) AND THEIR ROLES IN POLICE FORCE ALSO TO THE PUBLIC

Image
The Department of Force Intelligence (DFI) plays a crucial role within the police force and acts as a vital link between law enforcement agencies and the public.  Its primary objective is to gather, analyze, and disseminate intelligence that aids in the prevention, detection, and investigation of criminal activities. Within the police force, the role of the DFI is multifaceted.  It supports operational units by providing them with timely and accurate intelligence information, assisting in strategic decision-making, and facilitating effective resource deployment. By monitoring criminal trends, identifying emerging patterns, and assessing potential threats, the DFI helps shape police strategies and operations, enabling law enforcement to proactively address crime-related challenges. Additionally,  The DFI collaborates closely with other internal departments, such as the Special Investigation Units or Criminal Investigation Divisions, creating a synergistic approach to...

MOMENT OF WAR BETWEEN ISRAEL AND PALESTINE.

Image
As War Between Israel & Palestine Enters Third Day: Taking side with humanity or religious bigotry Before you take a side on religious bigotry against humanity, kindly know these facts; 1) The total population of Israel is 9.364m equivalent to the population of Kaduna State, occupying a land mass of 22,145sq.km, far less than Adamawa State' 36,917sq.km 2) Of the above population, 1.7m are Muslims representing 18% while Christians are just 185,000 equivalent to 1.9%. While Jewish religion adherents have about 73.6% of the total population. 3) From the above figures, it can be seen that Israeli Muslims are nine times more than Israeli Christians in Israel. 4) The Israeli Defense Force has an army of 169,500 (active personnel). Of this number, only 150 are Christians while Muslims are 606, the rest are Jewish Adherents. 5) 40% of #Jerusalem are Palestinians. 6) Therefore, if you think the fight between Israel and Palestine is a Christian/Muslim War, YOU'RE WRONG, even if you t...

While it is normal to experience sadness during difficult times, depression is different as it can persist for an extended period and significantly impact daily life. 2. MUCH PROBLEM THAT FOLLOWS PROTESTS IF IT IS NOT CURB

Image
The most disgusting thing is, the Nigerian youths cannot really differentiate between privilege and right. Do you have the right to partake or stage a public protest without the permission of the Police Force? Some of our youths will say Nigeria is a failed nation but I disagree with them. Its  our youths that call themselves "leaders of tomorrow" are not getting their priorities right. A country that is not governed by the rule of law will delve into anomie. Nigeria is governed by rule of law and the Police are there to make sure that these rules are obeyed. The Police must be credited for making peace to reign in our society. I could remember vividly the End SARS protest saga in Nigeria. Many Policemen were either killed or maimed. Are they not human beings? Yet, these out-of-bound youth kept claiming they were killed or brutalized by the law enforcing agents. On the real issue, I want to ask us all the good citizen that what was the relevance of the protest in Ijebu Ode w...

YOUTH LETS SHUN ABUSIVE WORDS IN POLITICS

Image
As a General expert,  I completely agree with your sentiment. It is crucial for our society to promote respectful and civil discourse, especially within the realm of politics. The use of abusive language not only undermines the democratic process but also hinders constructive debate and collaboration. Engaging in politics is essential for the development and progress of any nation. However, when abusive words are used, they divert attention from the actual issues at hand and create an environment of hostility and negativity. This not only discourages meaningful dialogue but also drives away potential participants, particularly the youth who are crucial for shaping the future. To address this issue, it is important for individuals, politicians, and political parties to cultivate a culture of respect and responsibility. Encouraging constructive criticism, focusing on policies and ideas rather than personal attacks, and promoting empathy and understanding are essential steps in ...

CHARACTER ASSASSINATION IN POLITICS

Image
I completely understand and agree with your sentiment regarding the importance of avoiding character assassination. Character assassination refers to the deliberate act of attacking someone's reputation or personal qualities rather than engaging in a constructive discussion on the issues at hand. Character assassination tactics, such as spreading false rumors, engaging in personal attacks, or manipulating information, are detrimental to the political discourse. They divert attention away from substantive issues, undermine trust, and create an environment of hostility and division. To foster a healthier political environment and promote productive conversations, it is crucial to focus on the merits of ideas, policies, and arguments rather than resorting to personal attacks. Instead of attacking an individual's character, it is more effective to engage in respectful and evidence-based discussions, where the focus is on the substance of the matter being debated. By emphasizing su...

BE CAREFUL OF DEFAMATION OF CHARACTERS

Image
Defamation of character refers to the act of making false statements about someone that harm their reputation. It is important to be cautious about engaging in such activity, both legally and ethically. To avoid defaming someone's character, consider the following suggestions: 1. Stick to the truth: Ensure that any statement you make about an individual is factually accurate. If you cannot verify the information, refrain from spreading it or presenting it as the truth. 2. Exercise professionalism: When discussing others, maintain a level of professionalism and objectivity. Avoid personal attacks, gossip, or spreading rumors that may tarnish someone's reputation. 3. Verify your sources: Before sharing information about someone, make sure your sources are reliable and trustworthy. Relying on hearsay or unverified claims can lead to spreading false information. 4. Be conscious of public vs. private information: Recognize the difference between sharing public facts and invading so...

POLICE OFFICERS DESERVE DIVIDEND OF DEMOCRACY (PALLIATIVE)

Image
Policemen, like all individuals, deserve access to palliative care if they are in need of it. Palliative care is a specialized approach to healthcare that focuses on improving the quality of life for individuals facing serious illnesses or injuries. It aims to provide relief from symptoms, pain, and stress, as well as offer emotional and psychological support to patients and their families. Policemen, as public servants responsible for maintaining law and order, often face challenging and high-stress situations in their line of duty.  They can encounter traumatic events, be exposed to physical harm, or develop work-related illnesses. In such cases, palliative care can play a crucial role in providing them with comfort, pain management, and emotional support. By ensuring that policemen have access to palliative care, we are recognizing their dedication to public service and acknowledging the toll their demanding roles can take on their physical and mental well-being.  It ...

REVENGE!!!

Image
"The problem with revenge is that it never evens the score. It ties both the injured and the injurer to an escalator of pain. Both are stuck on the escalator as long as parity is demanded, and the escalator never stops." -Lewis B. Smedes. Sometimes, I sit and regret the times I took my pound of flesh when I was wronged by fellow humans. Other times, I rue the days I failed to exact revenge and allowed disrespect slide. Every now and then, I fight a constant battle over whether or not I should take revenge. On the one hand, I feel that it will give me peace and satisfaction. On the other hand, I look at the cost of taking revenge and just let it be.  Jeremy Taylor is famed for describing revenge as "a rolling stone, which, when a man hath forced up a hill, will return upon him with a greater violence, and break those bones whose sinews gave it motion." When you look at it this way, you see that revenge can be at more cost to you than the offender.  But Friedrich Nie...

CHARACTER ASSASSINATION

Image
Avoiding character assassination is a key element in maintaining fairness and integrity in any communication or discourse. It entails refraining from making personal attacks or maliciously targeting an individual's character, beliefs, or values. Instead, focusing on the substance of the argument or engaging in constructive criticism fosters a healthier and more productive exchange of ideas. To steer clear of character assassination, it is important to adhere to the following guidelines: 1. Stick to the facts: Base your arguments on verifiable evidence and objective observations. Avoid using assumptions or spreading rumors about a person's character. 2. Address ideas, not individuals: Direct your critique towards the ideas, arguments, or actions presented by others, rather than attacking their personal qualities or motivations. Engage in thoughtful discussions that challenge the premises, evidence, or reasoning behind these ideas without resorting to personal attacks. 3. Use re...

CLAIMS OF POOR FEEDING OF TROOPS AT FRONTLINE: COAS ORDERS INVESTIGATION

Image
Th e attention of the Nigerian Army (NA) has been drawn to a recent claim of poor feeding of troops at the frontline in the North East Theatre of operations.  It is crucial to point out to the general public that the welfare of troops under the present leadership of the NA takes a premium place amongst other important schemes and considerations as it is one of the vital pillars of the COAS Command Philosophy which is to provide "Sound Administration" in order to ensure a highly motivated force. The NA therefore takes these allegations very seriously and the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja has directed immediate investigation into the complaints to ascertain its veracity and unravel the circumstances. Anti-smuggling Awareness Campaign: Ogun Area 1 Customs Co-sponsors Youths' Anniversary... Generates N1.5b in 9 Months

Image
Customs Area Controller (CAC) of Ogun 1 Command, Idiroko, DC Ahmadu Bello Shu'aibu, has recounted the adverse effect of smuggling in that axis, and sought the cooperation of border communities to be on the same page with the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) in its anti-smuggling drive. The CAC, at a symposium jointly organized by the command and the Ipokia Local Government Youth Forum (IPYF), to mark the IPYF fifth year annual Independence Day celebration, an event that took place at Mercyland Events Hall, Idiroko, lamented that, "Over the years, the command had recorded series of horrible and unwanted experiences in our line of lawful duties". According to him, "These experiences range from blocking of access roads by smugglers and their sympathizers, mob attacks of officers, either going in pursuit of information or conveying seized goods to the government warehouse, skirmishes to altercation, which often resulted to casualties". This, he noted, had resulted to t...
