Tension is rising in Ago-Iwoye as repeated armed robbery attacks leave students and residents living in fear. What started as isolated incidents has now become a pattern, turning daily routines into moments of anxiety.

Multiple residents and students report losing phones, valuables, and personal belongings to robbers in recent weeks. One resident said his family was attacked and robbed last month. The case was reported to security agencies, but little action followed.

This morning, fear deepened after reports that a young man was allegedly killed during another robbery. That loss has sparked outrage and urgent calls for intervention.

Students say they now move with caution. Parents are worried. Business owners close early. The sense of safety that holds a community together is eroding fast.

Stakeholders, student leaders, and residents are urging the Police, Amotekun, DSS, and Ogun State Government to act decisively now — before more lives and property are lost.
