Vice Chancellor Receives Police Chief as Command Deepens Dialogue on Campus Security and Community Policing



The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, CP Bode Ojajuni, psc, FCSS, MNIPR, today arrived at the Ibogun Campus of Olabisi Onabanjo University for a strategic engagement with students and residents of the host community.  



The visit, which had the Vice Chancellor in attendance, focused on strengthening security architecture, building trust, and fostering proactive police-community collaboration around the university environment.  


Addressing students and community stakeholders, CP Ojajuni reiterated the Command’s commitment to intelligence-led policing, timely response to distress, and sustained dialogue as tools for crime prevention. He urged students to remain law-abiding, avoid cultism and drug abuse, and promptly report suspicious activities through established channels.  



The Vice Chancellor commended the Ogun State Police Command for its proactive outreach and assured the Command of the university’s full cooperation in maintaining a safe and conducive learning atmosphere.
