OGUN STATE POLICE COMMISSIONER, CP OLUBODE OJAJUNI, VOWS TO CRACK DOWN ON MISCONDUCT

The new Commissioner of Police in Ogun State, CP Olubode Ojajuni, has declared zero tolerance for police misconduct, corruption, and human rights abuses. In his maiden press briefing, CP Ojajuni emphasized that his administration will prioritize discipline, professionalism, and respect for human dignity.


He announced the deployment of the X-Squad and Police Monitoring Unit to ensure internal discipline and professional conduct among officers. 


The Complaint Response Unit (CRU) will also serve as a channel for reporting police misconduct, accessible via telephone and social media platforms.


CP Ojajuni's agenda includes strengthening community policing, proactive policing strategies, and collaboration with stakeholders to maintain law and order. 

He urged officers to treat citizens with dignity and respect, while encouraging residents to reciprocate with cooperation and mutual respect.
