OGUN POLICE ANNOUNCE PHYSICAL AND CREDENTIAL SCREENING FOR RECRUITMENT OF GENERAL DUTY / SPECIALIST POLICE CONSTABLES
The Ogun State Police Command wishes to inform applicants and members of the general public that the physical and credential screening exercise for the recruitment of General Duty and Specialist Police Constables into the Nigeria Police Force will commence from 9th March to 18th April, 2026, by 7:00 a.m. daily, at POWA Hall, Command Headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta, Ogun State. This information is specifically for Ogun State indigenes who successfully applied during the online recruitment registration exercise, and the Command wishes to emphasize that the RECRUITMENT AND SCREENING EXERCISE IS COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE.
The exercise follows the deployment of officers by the Nigeria Police Force alongside personnel of the Police Service Commission to conduct the screening process across all states of the Federation, including Ogun State. Applicants from Ogun State who successfully completed the online registration are advised to log in to the official recruitment portal at npfapplication.psc.gov.ng to check their screening dates, confirm their status, and print the required documents ahead of the exercise.
Applicants are required to appear at the screening venue on the date and time indicated on their invitation slip and must come along with the following documents:
1.Invitation Slip.
2.Application Submission Slip.
3.Credentials Screening Form.
4.Physical Screening Form.
5.Duly completed Guarantor’s Form.
6.Original National Identity Number (NIN) printout or National Identity Card issued by the National Identity Management Commission.
7.O’Level (GCE/SSCE) certificate.
8.Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age.
9.Certificate of Origin duly signed by the Local Government Chairman or Secretary.
10.Trade Test/Certificate (for Specialist applicants only).
Applicants are further required to present originals and duplicate copies of their credentials neatly packaged in two separate white flat files, each attached with recent passport photographs. Candidates must also appear at the screening venue dressed in white canvas shoes, white T-shirts, white shorts, and white stockings.
The Command emphasizes that the screening exercise will be conducted strictly on merit and in line with the highest standards of professionalism and transparency. Applicants are therefore advised to adhere strictly to all guidelines and ensure that all required documents are presented during the screening exercise.
The Ogun State Police Command urges members of the public to note once again that the recruitment process is FREE OF CHARGE and to promptly report any individual or group demanding gratification in connection with the exercise.
