*IJEBULAND UNDER SECURITY LOCKDOWN: EXPLOSIVES BAN AND NIGHT GATHERINGS RESTRICTIONS IN PLACE*

 


In response to recent national security concerns, Ijebu-Ode Local Government Area has implemented immediate measures to safeguard its residents and visitors. 


The following directives are now in effect:


*EXPLOSIVES PROHIBITED*: A ban on the use, sale, and distribution of bangers, fireworks, and other explosive materials is enforced throughout Ijebu-Ode Local Government Area until December 31st, 2025.


*NIGHT GATHERINGS CURTAILED*: Social events, Church vigils, street carnivals, and unapproved night assemblies are strongly discouraged beyond 9:00 pm.


Residents, religious, and community leaders are urged to adhere to these safety measures and collaborate with security agencies to maintain public order.
