Michael Abiodun 08032317659
A disturbing report has shed light on the growing insecurity at the Molipa Express axis of Ijebu Ode, particularly around the Tripper Garage area, where notorious "zanga boys" are causing chaos and threatening the peace and safety of residents and commuters.
*The Alarming Reality:*
- Illicit activities are rampant in the Tripper Garage area, especially at night.
- A recent incident at Praise Chapel Junction resulted in a woman, Mrs. Kosoko Olajumoke, being robbed and injured, highlighting the urgent need for intervention.
Mrs. Kosoko, a private school teacher, was attacked while walking with her daughter.
The assailant grabbed her phone, slashing her hand in the process.
A brave Hausa commercial rider pursued the attacker and later recovered the stolen phone.
*The Aftermath:*
- Mrs. Kosoko underwent surgery after being rejected by a nearby pharmacy and was later treated at a private hospital.
- Thankfully, her fingers are gradually regaining functionality after a successful surgery.
The community demands urgent attention to address this security challenge. We echo the call for security operatives to take immediate action to safeguard lives, restore security, and guarantee the safety of all individuals in the Molipa Express axis.
We commend the bravery of the Hausa rider who intervened and recovered the stolen phone.
We also extend our heartfelt wishes to Mrs. Kosoko for a speedy and complete recovery.
